Web Development

I specialize in front-end web development using standards-compliant XHTML, CSS, JavaScript. I also offer PHP and MySQL development in addition to content management systems, such as WordPress and Drupal, to allow for easy site maintenance.

Print Design

I have a passion for print design. The internet is an amazing thing, but it doesn't quite compare with print. There's something magical about holding a newspaper, magazine, or record album in your hands. I have extensive knowledge of the printing process, typography and page layout as well as a ton of experience in magazine and newspaper design. I possess what is fast becoming an obsolete skill: the ability to create highly effective designs for print that will wow your customers.

Hi! My name is Ted Angel, I'm a freelance graphic / web designer based out of Sacramento, CA. I have an obsession with all things related to design, baseball, and music. I love the constant evolution of the design world and greatly enjoy learning and growing as a designer. When I'm not working as a designer, I can either be found playing in various rock & roll bands or watching an Oakland Athletics' game.

I have been designing for both print and the web since 1998. In 2004 I graduated from CSU, Sacramento with a B.S. in Graphic Design and have been freelancing ever since. I've worked with the Sacramento News & Review, the Sacramento Rivercats, Amtrak California, Jackson Rancheria and many others.

Skills

I create with a pen and paper, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I code websites in XHTML, CSS, some JavaScript and a little bit of love. For larger web projects I develop with PHP and MySQL paired with Drupal.
